Palestinians
Israelis have the right to defend themselves, but their presence in what used to be the province of Palestine requires that Israel make a deal, especially after the past year of tens of thousands of dead Palestinian civilians. Military force alone just won't do it.
Support for Ukraine
We are solidly behind Ukraine as peace can be had as soon as all Russian troops leave. Ukraine should revert to its 1991 borders. Russia doesn't need any conditions in order to depart.
Climate Change Action
We support measures to battle human-caused climate change and promote sustainability for future generations.
350.org is named what it is because 350 parts per million is the highest safe level of carbon in the atmosphere. We're well beyond that level.

Trump wins election
Plenty of blame to go around. Racism, sexism, the NY Times consistently softening or downplaying Trump's fascist tendencies, Russian interference consistently welcomed by Republicans. Maybe a few other things, but our candidate did a great job. As Daily Kos says, we need a media ecosystem to rival that of the right wing.

David Gibson & I both belong to the group Divest Philly from the War Machine (Xitter site). Divest opposes the city of Philadelphia investing in nuclear weapons.
Georgia had a fight with Russia over Abkhazia and South Ossetia in 2008. Things have been more or less quiet until recently, when the pro-Russian government tried to impose a years-long delay in joining the EU.
