Israelis have the right to defend themselves, but their presence in what used to be the province of Palestine requires that Israel make a deal, especially after the past year of tens of thousands of dead Palestinian civilians. Military force alone just won't do it.
We are solidly behind Ukraine as peace can be had as soon as all Russian troops leave. Ukraine should revert to its 1991 borders. Russia doesn't need any conditions in order to depart.

Plenty of blame to go around. Racism, sexism, the NY Times consistently softening or downplaying Trump's fascist tendencies, Russian interference consistently welcomed by Republicans. Maybe a few other things, but our candidate did a great job. As Daily Kos says, we need a media ecosystem to rival that of the right wing.
